Nailor is an active member of the Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Institute, working with the organization and other manufacturers to develop product performance ratings, test standards and independent certification programs.

Nailor is a participating corporation in the ARI 880 Certification Program for VAV Terminal Units.

Nailor actively supports the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers through membership, educational seminars, donations to research and trade show attendance.  Air Distribution and terminal units are tested in accordance with ASHRAE Standards.  ANSI/ASHRAE Std. 70-1991.  Method of Testing for Rating the performance of Air Outlets and Inlets.  ANSI/ASHRAE Std. 130-1996 Method of testing for rating ducted air terminal units.

Nailor actively participates on product related technical committees working to develop new and revised industry standards. We are also a member of the Air Leakage Certification Program for control dampers.

Membership of the National Fire Protection Association ensures that we keep abreast of the latest trends and developments. Fire Rated Life Safety products are developed in accordance with relevant standards.

Nailor works with Underwriters Laboratories Inc. and Underwriters     Laboratories of Canada for classification of our life safety products and serves on the relevant technical committee for standards development and revisions.  A unique feature of our damper line is that they meet both North American and European ISO Standard requirements and are therefore the most qualified products in the world.

We are a member company of the Building services Research and Information Association in the UK, employing their recognized test facilities and currently contributing to the executive.

Nailor Life Safety products manufactured in the UK are on the Loss Prevention Council's List of relevant Approved Products.  Nailor products are tested to British Standards Institute (BSI) and ISO Standards.
