Handles The Largest Louvers Sections In The Industry

The Nailor Industries, Houston, TX factory is proud to announce that our new Powder Coat Paint Line is up and running. The half million dollar investment is a part of our commitment to improving our architectural and mechanical louver manufacturing and finishing capabilities. We can now handle and paint larger sections than most other manufacturers in the industry. Nailor now offers an increased number of 24 standard colors to match industry requirements. We can also provide custom colors to match architectural requirements.

The new Paint Line which is roughly 500 feet in length includes a 3 stage pretreatment system and is compliant with the AAMA 2604 specification. Nailor Industries uses a chrome free pretreatment system that removes organic and inorganic surface soils and residual oxides. The pretreatment applies a chemical conversion coating to the substrate to which the organic powder coating will firmly adhere. Powder paint is applied using electrostatics. The steel or aluminum products are charged with an opposite charge than the paint resulting in a uniform film. The line can handle large louvers sections and oversized grilles and diffusers up to approximately 12 feet wide x 8 feet high.

The line has been approved by select paint suppliers to apply the super durable Kynar 500 / Hylar 5000 finishes which are the premium choice for outdoor commercial applications. Kynar 500 / Hylar 5000 coatings are tough and long lasting with excellent color retention and abrasive properties. They resist chalking, weathering, fading, chemical abrasion and weathering. Extended warranties up to 10 years are available.
