Electrical Duct Heaters

Model Seriesl: DH
Models: DHRS (slip-in), DHRF (flanged) and
DHRR (round)

• Custom built to order

• Stock Models

• Standard ribbed or high performace

• Basic custom heater models .1 to 1000 kW

Basic Configuration: Slip-in Heater

Slip-in is designed to "slip" into an opening on the side of the duct work. The heater frame/wrapper is under sized 1" from the given duct size. Example: A heater that fits into a 10" x 10" (W x H) duct; Therefore, the heater wrapper will be 9" x 8" (W x H) duct.
Nailor has a minimum duct height of 8" and minimum duct width of 9". There is no maximum.
*All control panel will equal the height of the given duct.

Basic Configuration: Flanged Heater

Flanged heaters are connected to unlined and lined ducts.
Flanged-heaters are constructed with 1" flange on the heater frame/wrapper.
- When installed, they become a section of the duct work.
- The I. D. or inside dimensions of the frame/wrapper matches the I. D. of the ductwork.
Example: A flange heater to mate with a 12"x12" (W x H) duct work. Therefore, the I. D. of the heater wrapper is 12"x12" (W x H).
*
The 1" flange adds 2" to the over all height of the unit. Therefore, in the example as above, the overall height will be 14" because of the 1" flange.
* The 1" flange also adds 1" to the overall length of heater wrapper. Therefore, the overall of the flanged heater above is 13".

Strip Heater

Nailor manufactures and supplies electric heater subassemblies for various applications to the appliances, air conditioning and heating industries.

Specialty Heater: Remote Panel Heater

Duct heater whose control panel is NOT intergrated with the heater wrapper. This allows the customer to place the control panel in a different location of his choosing.

Specialty Heater: Sqaure-to-Round Duct Heater

Square-to-Round Duct Heater that is placed into the center of a box. Each end of this box is capped off with the desired round collar size given by the customer.
* Customer only need to provide the collar size, voltage, phase, kW and additional options if desired.
* Box will be 1" plus the collar size to determine height and width.
* Box will have 6" on either side of heater wrapper to determine its length.
Example: 13" collar. Therefore, box height = 14" ; Box width = 14" and
box length = 6"+6"+3"=15"

Electric Duct Heater with SCR Control

Nailor Electric Duct Heaters can be equipped with SCR controls. One hundred percent solid state proportioning control is noiseless and contains no mechanical switching devices. SCR controlled duct heaters provide very fine space temperature control and are designed for highest reliability.
